![]() if I can make two tablets and a kneeboard work in that dinky cockpit then anyone can use a tablet. i'll wager the cockpit is smaller than 98% of others'.and all works just fine though set up time is a little longer than most and things are a little confined but hey once in I not going anywhere. As I have zero attitude and nav aid instruments I like the two gps s.the Lowrance is hardwired with batt backup.the Nexus is batt only. Don't get me wrong, FltPlan Go isn't a very bad app, it's just not too good. Vs FltPlan where the programmers are in charge of how they want to implement something (which should be dictated by users instead). It’s a perfect back-up GPS, excellent planning tool and all-around, a great product. Probably because all FF team members are pilots, including management which makes UI and UX decisions. It has great Canadian content, useful weather and information (including most of the CFS, VTA’s etc.) and it’s free. FltPlan has more than 18 years of general aviation experience, giving pilots access to the best support team in the business. #Fltplan go review fullI also strap in using a 5 point tie down harness with 3 inch NHRA drag racing straps. We didn’t fly this (obviously) but the weather in pre-flight and even in-flight is great to have and free. FltPlan Go is a part of FltPlan's comprehensive system that includes free, web-based flight planning and filing and a full range of premium services. My aircraft is a tiny single seat Midget Mustang experimental with a btwn the knees floor mounted stick and throttle quad on left side fuselage. Simplifies and streamlines your cockpit management Works with the Garmin Pilot, ForeFlight Mobile and FltPlan Go. The nexus is velcro ed to a plastic frame with a velcro strap thru the frame going around my left thigh just up from knee.strapped on my right thigh, is my 2000 Lowrance 1000, 4 or 5 inch rectangular B W screen dedicated gps.data base about 2004 so obviously don't trust for freqs and similar info but it still is a great dedicated nav gps and has a many screens with one emulating a B767 panel.towards waist from the Lowrance is my standard VFR knee board with checklists in plastic pages also strapped around leg. Wirelessly Link your iPad to Your Avionics. I deleted it and after re-downloading it, it worked fine. I got a msg that in order to update, I needed to delete the current SW sectional. I can't really answer your questions but I did have some trouble with the app recently. Mine is Nexus 7 2012/first gen.7 inch tablet, also never failed in flight though have had one or two incidents with updates on the ground. I love FltPlan Go and would never switch to any of the paid services like FF or Garmin. ![]()
